All Babies and Me, We Have (at least) One Thing in Common

For a short period of existence,

atheism

is

as natural,

honest

and pure

as a naked, human baby.

.

Think about it.

.

Christians regard Atheism as its major enemy.

Babies are defenseless.

Adults aren’t.

Pick on someone your own size.

  1. I couldn’t agree with you more. I’ve said in the past that babies are born atheist. It’s the outside forces and people who change them. Revert to your 0 month!

Thanks, Susanne. I like that. “Revert to your O month!”

As an adoptee to devoted Christian parents, I am an advocate for the scientific and atheist rational of life over abortion. I am an advocate, like most atheists, of giving kids a great life without superfluous threat of fear or teaching them that god is somehow loving despite all his non-loving behaviors.

We atheists shall continue to give kids the right to be free minded and to grow up physically and mentally strong using their faculties and educations to lead them into their bright futures.

It’s weird how you hear of people who don’t do their research on atheist culture. They don’t know any better. They get stuck thinking what their pastors tell them. That’s okay, though, right? Someday they’ll research for themselves. Oh, the future glory days. How great they’ll be.

Susanne, thanks for reading and responding. Your next round’s on me. :)

      • I’m doing my level best to allow my three kids to develop their own beliefs in this matter.

They went to church with their grandfather when he was alive and it pretty much was decided they were going for the donuts and nothing else.

I still talk to my fourteen year old about beliefs and the choices we make based on our own experiences and she’s still on the undecided route.

As for rounds – how ’bout a good strong coffee? I need it this morning LOL

Actually, if we could convince the godless to stop killing babies, I think this would be a better world. I don’t expect the godless to support pro-life any time soon. I think most babies wish that their parents were pro-life who took love seriously. We need more love in the world…not more atheism.

I was just thinking and discussing this with friends yesterday whilst playing with their smashing curious little 10 month old bundle of unbrainwashed cuteness.

Zdenny yet again you move the goalposts and move unsubtly to question if abortion. Prochoice is not baby killing it’s exercising a womans right to choose what she does with her body. Bit then you Christians are not big on womens rights or any minorities rights are you ??

Yes I do agree with on one thing we do need more love in the world – of the rational peace loving freethinking atheist kind none of your Christian or Muslim “my imaginary friend is better than yours” hatred promoting war endorsing kind. & please don’t bring up Hitler or Stalin in the weary old Christian atheists kill loads of people crap – Hitler was Carholic and Stalin a psychopath. Think on all the deaths attributable to Christian and Muslim mythology in the past 2000 years. The sooner the world thinks rationally the better. I just hope the (c)Rapture happens soon – a world freed from the shackles of Christianity would be such a better place.

Renee, it’s great to hear about your perspective and your kids’ experiences.

Just for you, coffee is brewing as well as some Yerba Mate. Take your pick. Breakfast spread is to be laid out presently.
