That the anchor in the story below opens by saying creationism in the same sentence as evolution as being one or the other is a mystery to me. How does a creation myth get equal bidding with a scientific theory?

It’s like saying, “Yesterday, Jeremy believes his tea was created by pixies in the kitchen or it was made when he heated up water on the stove and poured it over a teabag … it has to be one or the other.”
Slowly but surely, intelligent people are reading and pursuing the evidence and they see that they can’t deny what science has to offer. Religionistas are able to couple all kinds of other ideas into their “faith” that don’t belong there. They can honor a book that advocates killing children in the same book that says love neighbors … but they can’t accept a scientific perspective while agreeing with love neighbors … I find that hard to believe. Why is the story of origins the breaking point for biblical passages that conflict with their message?
Science starts with minds confirming facts. A mind has never confirmed Darwinian evolution. We only have speculation on the part of Darwinians who are paid literally millions to come up with something or lose their funding.
What I find hard to believe is that with the literally billions of dollars spent trying to make Darwinian evolution happen, it has never been observed.
It has been observed. Most obviously with dog breeding. Scientists have observed it with bacteria, viruses, and even insects such as fruit flies.
But to quote Brian Dunning, “There’s a lot of observation in science where we have to use evidence of an event: certain chemical reactions, subatomic particle physics, theoretical physics; all of these disciplines involve experimentation and observation where the actual events can’t be witnessed. The theory of evolution was originally developed to explain the evidence that was observed from the fossil record. So in this respect, every significant aspect of evolution has been exhaustively observed and documented, many times over.”
Science is not about “minds confirming facts.” It is about gathering evidence, observing the natural world, proposing and testing new hypotheses to enable the development of theories which can be tested for validity by other researchers.
And your implication that “Darwinians” (do you mean evolutionists?) have spent the last 150 years lying to the public to keep from losing their jobs is both childish and highly offensive. Do you ever get tired of fighting what the smart people know as fact? Or is it safer to live in a bubble of made up shit and magic?
