Are you ready for some TMI … it’s shooting out both ends

Yesterday afternoon, I started to get a stomach ache. Tina and I went shopping by ourselves, as we usually go shopping with my brothers in law on Sundays.

We picked up a few things at Aldi and then finished our list at Whole Foods. While we were at Whole Foods, my crankiness meter went from funky to holy shit.

When we got home, my stomach felt like it did in Thailand. “This is not going to end well,” I thought.

Yesterday evening, extremely watery diarrhea hit me followed by feverish chills. Later I laid in bed moaning like a wussy man in a lot of pain. I tried to eat something, but I ended up vomiting it back up.

I made it through the night without issuing too many more citations to the toilet. This morning, my stomach is cramping up, and Tina feels like a sack of shit, too.

I’m thinking it’s the flu, even though I had a flu shot. We’ll see how well today goes. I don’t want to go to the doctor, but I may need to.

I can’t imagine what the world would be like if I were sick, Tina were sick and if we had a kid squirting his or her insides everywhere too.
