I hope you’re having a rip-roaring Friday afternoon.
Tina and I are headed back to shoot an event downtown today. We shot last night, and came up with some fun shots that I’m proud of.
Tonight it’s supposed to snow. We’ve had snow, just not enough to cover the ground. I even had an alert message arrive on my iPhone, so you know it’s gotta do something.
Some recent comments in my About section and on this post have been nothing short of entertaining and ridiculous. I’m not sure how some people breathe and generate saliva at the same time without a complete body shut down. Am I that naive or are people so opposed to free thought and self-education than I ever imagined possible?
Anyway, chime in if you get a second. Or don’t. It’s a fun ride even without you riding along.
Cheers. Happy Friday. Eat and drink something out of the ordinary today. You deserve it.

Wow, speaking of memory… I can remember thinking similarly to David from the about section. Good luck with that. Wish I had the willpower to make time for epistemologies so flawed. Sometimes the best one can do is find common ground and attempt to draw the other person to the center.
*backs away slowly*
On a side note, I did find time today to host two very professional Latter Day missionaries today. Friendly and personable fellows, we reached the same basic impasse. They seemed a bit dumbfounded by my critique of Moroni 10:4-5.
“If ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost. And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know all things.”
As tempting as absolute knowledge sounds… I think I’ll pass on that kind of “knowing”. I wanted to say “Have you heard the good news about confirmation bias?” Instead I remained polite and questioned what was meant by sincere heart, real intent, and faith in Christ.
