I was really excited about this album this morning, and now I’m pissed off. I downloaded the album which is set to download automatically to my main drive. My main drive does not store my iTunes music folder.

But there’s a piracy mechanism in the files that won’t allow me to move the fucking music to my iTunes folder.

I’m really pissed off, Radiohead.

Does the piracy mechanism also stop you from burning it onto a CD? I hope that’s not a stupid question.

    • Jeremy says:

At this point, I don’t know. I don’t have it in a form to put on CD. I need to be able to put it into iTunes or convert the files. Right now, it won’t let me do anything to change them in anyway.

  2. SAW says:

Isn’t it time we all started going back to the record store?

    • Jeremy says:

Shit, let’s just go back to the good old days when it was a drum, a circle, a fire, and a group chant.

      • Jude says:

Let’s just go back to playing live music!

Speaking of which, if you’re in Ottawa on the 12th of March, you can hear me! :D

        /shameless hijacking of Jeremy’s blog for self-promotion

I have no idea who you are, but I typed in Radiohead sucks, and this came up. I agree.

I paid money for the album, and can’t listen to it. I’m glad they are so proud of themselves and unique. And I do love their music. But to have to consult my resident IT dork to listen to it reinforces all the pejorative baggage associated with them. I defintely like them a lot less right now. So, rock on Radiohead; you keep making it your mission to make it difficult to listen to music, you lost me.

I pirated it, the album is garbage: not worth paying for. Worst album yet. Progressively worse.

    • jd says:

i agree..this is the shittiest piece of shit ever recorded…for all of you having difficulty listening to the record, consider yourself lucky…actually listening to it is far worse

I wish I had read this post before I pirated the record. I would have saved some ratio and my ears from getting raped.

I wrote initially that the album sucked, because I couldn’t get the damn thing to play correctly.

I’m leaning toward the “this album sucks’ criticism too. It’s not AMAZING. Last night, I was listening to it, and I don’t feel like there’s anything that showcases talent in the album.

There’s an element of, “Would I pay money to go see these songs performed?” And that answer is a solid no.

Don’t know why I stumble upon this site today (prob because I was pissed and googled The king Of limbs sucks), I got my physical album copy, assuming it would have a second cd with more songs like the in rainbows albums, don’t know something to compensate that the album lacks of geniallity…. don’t know…. any who great site…

    • Jeremy says:

      Thanks for your comment.

There are some good moments during the album, but for the most part, I’m not impressed.

I’ll definitely have my “buyer beware” t-shirt on the next time around.
