Did you see what I did there?

Graphic of celebrity faces who claim to be atheists reads, “Fear not hell, for if it exists, you will find yourself in good company.”

Make sure you try to identify everyone. Tina and I named everyone except the dude under Willy Wanka, below Teller, above George Clooney and below Morgan Freeman.

I found the original here at TYWKIWDBI, but altered it ever so slightly.

Below Teller is the host of BBCs Top Gear, Jeremy Clarkson. This is the best car show ever created EVER. It’s on Netflix, at least in Canada. There is an American version, but that one is not as good.

I assume that when you say “Willy Wonka”, you mean Gene Wilder-since both he and Johnny Depp have played that role (If you meant Depp, screw you-he will never be Willy Wonka). That guy below him is Eddie Izzard. He’s a stand-up comic. You may remember him from Oceans Twelve, or from Valkyrie, but to me he will always be Tony P in one of the greatest pieces of cinema ever: Mystery Men.

Dylan Moran is above Cloony, which leads me to believe that you don’t know any British comedians-since you have missed three so far. Shaun of The Dead. Best zombie movie ever.

Can’t help you with the guy below Freeman, though the guy below that guy is pretty darn handsome.

Also: who the hell is below Richard Branson?

    • Jeremy says:

I knew someone would be awesome-er than I (edit) at picking out the people I couldn’t name.

Also: who the hell is below Richard Branson?

      One-ballin’, cancer-surviving atheist Lance Armstrong.

He rode in a bicyle race called Le Too-er de Francis.

      Seriously.

  2. George W. says:

    That’s Lance Armstrong? He’s let himself go……

The guy we don’t know is/was a comic on that show with Lewis Black, the one where they debate topics and Black judges who won. You know what I’m talking about?

    • Jeremy says:

I don’t remember Lewis Black having his own show.

Let’s put it this way. I can google it and see that it existed. And because there are multiple sources with evidence, I believe what you’re explaining to be true.

What a world we would live in if all facts could be verified before a billion people claim something ridiculous is truth.

I second that sentiment about Top Gear. The original British show is one of my favorites (favourites!) The American knock-off is just sad.

As for the guy under Morgan Freeman, that’s comedian Patton Oswald.

You notice the trend here… most of these folks are actors or comedians, outspoken and unashamed. Politicians and businessmen in general like myself would be treated like pariahs if we were as vocal.

  4. zqtx says:

Oh, by the way, that’s not Eddie Izzard
    - that’s Ming the Merciless from Flash Gordon!

    : )

  5. Jeremy says:

Now that people’s names have been identified, I am hitting myself on the head.

Eddie Izzard and Dylan Moran, I should have known. I agree with Shaun of the Dead claim one hundred percent and I would add some if I could.

Patton O doesn’t look like himself. I love the Sky Cake bit more than most people like cake.

And as for business, I worry about having this blog a lot. But it’s important to me. And I try as hard as I can to be “reasoned” about it. Hell, if my dad can read this blog and not disown me, anyone can.

    I think.
