  1. Jude says:

    I’m not going to watch the video at work, but if the description is accurate, then wouldn’t this fall outside of the free speech laws and be legally actionable?

    This kind of shit is sickening and it’s being promoted and propagated in churches across the country.

    We have a long way to go in this society.

    If all of these fine folks who truly believe that they are going to the heaven they think exists when they die, wouldn’t we be doing them a favor by rounding them all up and expediting their arrival?

    Just sayin’.

  3. George W. says:

    Unfortunately Jude, the guy just wants to round them up like cattle and let them die of natural causes. He does seem to get close to the line on telling his parishoners who to vote for though isn’t that enough to potentially remove their tax exemption?

  4. Richie Caudle says:

    Unbelievable. I wonder if the individuals preaching and condemning others according to Old Testament, old covenant law, are actually ready to live by all 600+ laws. “But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which he is mediator is superior to the old one, since the new covenant is established on better promises”. Hebrews 8:6 And later on, “By calling this covenant “new,” he has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear.”Hebrews 8:13 These verses speaking about Jesus. It’s simply amazing how far from the truth folks in the pulpit can be. It really is an embarrassment.

    @George

    Churches constantly tell their parishioners who to vote for.

    “Remove their tax exemption”? You’re kidding, right? There’s waaaaaay too much influence from religious lobbyists in our system to ever allow that to happen.
