On Saturday, we had a photo shoot with a young woman at the studio.
Bill wanted to have a young woman wear a skull cap to do a sort of cyborg idea that he’s been mulling over for the past year or more.
The issue with the shoot was there was no issues. Everything was going smoothly. Too smoothly.
It was so smooth that I said, “Someone needs to break my camera on the ground in a zillion pieces. Something needs to balance the equilibrium of everything going so well.”
I spoke too soon.
When I got home that night, my computer informed me that it had fallen and couldn’t get up.
There have been indications that my baby wasn’t feeling well. But it all came to a head when I wanted to dump the day’s photography onto it.
I noticed some problems leading up to that night, so it wasn’t completely unexpected. But it still never feels good.
I’m still dealing with some of the issues, and I’m planning a dinner party tonight where I’m making at least four pizzas …
So while I’m dealing with work and backing up hard drives, you can take a look at what Stan from TYWKIWDBI is posting. The Internets know he’s more interesting anyway.
- An elderly man remembers “when the sky fell”
- Transhumanism
- Terabytes of data stored on a gram of DNA (what if it crashed?)
- Quick, humorous post: When it’s time to clean the toilet…
I’m hoping my computer issues are solved completely here soon. Thanks for your patience.
