Yup. I think this graphic pretty much covers it.
When will this jackass just admit that he made a rediculous statement? Why aren’t more GOP women furious? Or are they and I’m just not hearing about it? Akin is no doubt one of those men who thinks to himself every time he hears of a woman being raped that she must have been asking for it in some way.
In their defense, I heard a republican senator from my state talk about how she’s a mother and a grandmother, and she is “pro-choice” in that she understands the need for abortion in certain situations.
Believe me. She chose her words very carefully.
She made rounds on a couple NPR broadcasts, but I don’t remember her name.
It struck me after I heard her on the second show, but I was knee-deep in making pizzas.
