You were/are completely right to bring it up.

I'm glad you did.

I wish that our leaders gave two shits about transparency and honesty.

And when I'm following politics, I pinch myself to remember the old adage, you know a politician is lying when his mouth is open.

I think we both know the power of oratory, and how despite the truth, it overpowers everything.

This could have been Biden's most rehearsed moment. But -- because of what you pointed out -- it likely wasn't. I'm not sure anyone could forget voting for a war.

I hope they wouldn't anyway.

I was taking no one to task. I actually thought I was asking for the heat. I'm basically making the point that the graphic doesn't have as much weight if the facts aren't correct. It's simply ironic, that's all.

I know you embrace fact and truth, as do I. This shit oozes out of both of these party platforms. Trust me. I don't give nearly the fuck I used to about the political rantings of either party.

Surprisingly, one of the few financial things going smooth for me is healthcare...crazy eh?

You're right and the foggy news is accurate. What's the problem? I'm not sure who you're taking to task.

Voting on the two wars was a bipartisan effort. I'm not arguing for or against Biden's involvement in voting for the wars.

There are four references that Biden threw out, not just the wars.

Compound the wars with putting "a prescription drug benefit on the credit card, a trillion- dollar tax cut for a—very wealthy" and you'll locate where Biden thought he was telling the truth.

I'm not defending either party for brilliant accuracy.

But I also didn't get a damn hoo-ha when Obama lost last week and everybody knew it. And we all admitted it.

It's a graphic, Aaron. It was a victorious moment.

If what they're reporting clinches your hope for the next president, so be it. Go with it. Cheer it on.

I'll make it personal.

Our accountant, our health insurance contact, the folks who are advising top industry leaders (banking, building, architecture) in Chicago on what could happen over the past four years have advised us that Obama is the clear choice for leading this country through the next four years.

As a small business owner, our accountant is guiding us closely and our insurance broker has shown us how our very expensive insurance has become moderately more reasonable thanks to what's happened over the past 3.5.

Our taxes are lower. Our expenses are less. Our income is growing.

Would I freak out if Romney were to be elected? Not at all. I'd love to see Romney/Ryan do their thing for four years.

Their promise not to blame anyone is clearly because they'd ride the coattails of the -- albeit mild -- successes over the past 3.5 years.

But professional advise is clear ... at least for me.

Okay, take me to task here...but on these points [in the first graphic featuring VP JB], I'm pretty sure our good friend Joe did vote for these two wars, and this tax cut (the "Bush Tax cut") was actually extended by the Obama administration, which could have allowed them to expire as they were written. I just listen to the news here in the fog, so I'll admit I could be biased in my influences.
