Somebody explain to me why this ad is blasphemous … seriously

This is an ad for a bar in Auckland called, “Chapel.”

From what I understand, it’s considered blasphemy. If that’s blasphemy, then what is it with all the carved images (and images in general) in churches?

How can they break one of the 10 commandments, but an image of a man and a woman in bed, passed out, is somehow blasphemy.

I mean, for reals.

Besides, Jesus had less hair and firmer abs.

*The “third” commandment is: “You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.”

That dude has some serious abdominal hair. You could lose a small pet in there. Hmmm..how do I get around that word choice? :D

    You don’t. You embrace “it”.

And by it, I do mean his members only jacket.

    Can’t touch that… (music please)
