Like stoking the fire in my brain

Some asshole posted this on Facebook:

It reads:

Timothy McVeigh didn’t use a gun.

• Killed 168 innocent people.

• Killed 19 children under age 6

• Injured over 680 Innocent People

• You can still buy fertilizer

• You can still buy racing fuel.

• You can still rent box trucks.

Murderers will murder with or without a gun. Guns are not the problem.

I’m sharing this, because if you think these things, that’s up to you. And if gun loving assholery is your game, let me help you burn your photos of Jesus, your bibles, and your entire idea of love and belief.

If you think guns are not the problem, tell that to the people who love these people:

My heart hurts about Friday.

My brain hurts.

And this conversation is too bogged down with pain for any of you to invoke the idea that guns aren’t the problem.

Maybe they aren’t the problem.

But they are in the formula.

And there appears to be a slew of beautiful people who could be spared pain, torture and agony if a dumbfuck didn’t get his hands on guns and ammunition on Friday morning.

Please let us all mourn without questioning whether guns are the problem.

Please.

Pretty fucking please.

Lead pro-gun control proponent, Diane Feinstein, carries a concealed weapon and has heavily armed bodyguards, yet believes everyone else should be disarmed. The same is true for film-maker Michael Moore.

Gun control is for the little people, not politicians or the rich and famous. They believe that only they should be able to protect themselves and their families.

Tens of millions of people should not be punished because of the actions of a few deranged psychopaths. If gun-control enthusiasts truly believed that, then they would be screaming for the banning and regulation of anything used to senselessly commit murder.

The truth is, these children, the victims in the recent shopping mall and the innocent people in the Aurora, CO theater were corralled into enclosed spaces and disarmed by “no guns allowed” and “gun free zones”. If these ridiculous signs did not exist and just one legally owned handgun was in the hands of a responsible person, then I am positive many of these deaths could have been prevented.

Show me a law that takes guns out of the hands of criminals and psychos who ignore those “gun free zone” signs and I will support it!

Hey! I’m a liberal and not a bible believer. I also legally hunt. Please do not lump all law abiding gun owners with nut cases who want to kill lots of people like suicide bombers do without guns almost everyday somewhere in the world. Ban gun’s and nut cases will just become more creative. Can’t ban bombs and you can learn to make one on the internet!
