Ah, brilliant, brilliant anthropomorphism … Here’s to animals and their ability to achieve human-like behavior
Yet another positive case for animals exhibiting behavior that we attribute only to humans … compassion, sadness, love, fidelity. If this video doesn’t tug a string or two, you should check your pulse.
From the video’s description:
INFO: This stray cat was filmed in Turkey( Kızılsaray district of Antalya ) trying to reanimate his female friend who got hit by a car. Even though some people tried to help him, the white cat wouldn’t let them come near for two straight hours. Finally a vet arrived and took the injured cat. Sadly, it was too late and he couldnt resuscitate the feline.
Knapp, Wright exit the closet … make pretty faces for homosexuality

Two relatively famous women have recently come out of the closet. I know very little about them.
Jennifer Knapp is an artist I’ve heard my family talk about. My family listens to and loves her albums. Knapp is a Christian musician, which I imagine this news will get her thrown out or disowned by bible-thumping believers now that she’s come out gay. She announced that she’s lesbian upon the release of her last album.
From NY Daily News:
The Grammy Award-nominated singer-songwriter vanished from the music scene seven years ago amidst rumors – which now turn out to be true – that she was gay.
I just heard that a country artist named Chely Wright came out of the closet too.

If there’s are markets that need the normalization of homosexuality, it’s within these two demographics … the religious and the traditionalists.
Here’s to hoping it changes minds among those who think homosexuality is a big awful sin.
Below is a video from Wright.
