The morality contest trudges forward.
Today, Tina, Zoe, Talulah and I are installing a new storm door. Our neighbor Nadine is supervising.
You’d be surprised at how big of a help Talulah is even without opposable thumbs.
The universe is smiling on us today. The weather is amazingly mild. Should I have recieved the door yesterday, it would have been too cold and tomorrow will also be too cold. Today is just right.
How’s that for timing? And I didn’t pray once about it, and my hopes still came true. Not praying does work!
Now if someone can stop me from doing my best Tim “The Tool Man” Taylor impression all day, Tina will thank you later.
This week continues with even more anti-muslim sentiments.
It’s moments like these when I wonder if the word “proud” belongs in the sentence, “I’m proud to be an American.”
Anybody have any heart-warming stories to share today?
