FOX News to its viewers, “You’re all sheep.”

FOX News sent out its Christmas cards, and you can find a photo of one above. The FOX sleigh, pulled by sheep (sheep?) is beating out the NBC, ABC and CBS. MSNBC and CNN aren’t even racing. They are looking on from the sidelines.

Isn’t it cute?

Isn’t it clever?

FOX News is winning thanks to the sheep pulling the sleigh.

Isn’t that the best way to say thanks to your viewers? Call them sheep, mindless animals with no sense, common sense or otherwise.

So the next time you find yourself helping FOX News’ ratings, be sure to say “Baaaaa” a few times. And eat from your trough. Because that’s how your news agency views you.

You bleating, mindless, cretinous sheep.

They said it, not me.

  1. Well they tell you the news and you and I rely on these accepted information outlets and the info they provide to be factual.

Now no this, there is no law that compels any of the corporate controlled media outlets to tell you the truth, however under penalty of law you will be forced in this country to pay for health care insurance soon 2014 whether you think you need it or not. Is this america anymore? I say no not after there recently was a law passed and signed by Obama to give the military the power to arrest without warrant any american they deem a potential terrorist threat and detain them indefinitely with out due processed, again is this america.

    1. You would do well to take a class on the difference between “no” and “know”.

Oh yeah, it’s called grammar school.

Punctuation would be included in there, too. So don’t worry about that.

And what law was this that was passed? Could you please (oh, pretty please) share with the rest of the class?

      School us, oh wise one.

      1. I believe he may be referring to the so-called “National Defence Authorization Act” signed last December which includes a provision allowing indefinite military detention without trial.

Comparing this with being forced to pay for health care insurance betrays a lack of capability for independent thought.

      2. I’m just a Canadian, so what do I know- but I believe that the right to detain suspected terrorists without trial was first enacted by Bush immediately after the 2001 Trade Center attacks. I thought this order was under the Authorization for Use of Military Force.
In fact, when I checked the NDAA that Jude mentions, it appears that the Act clearly states “Nothing in this section shall be construed to affect existing law or authorities relating to the detention of United States citizens, lawful resident aliens of the United States, or any other persons who are captured or arrested in the United States.”
That kind of sounds like there are no superfluous powers being bestowed on the Office that were not previously affirmed by prior legislation. Am I wrong?

Here in Canada, we have laws that prevent media from blatantly lying. You should try it sometime.
I bet that Fox News would call such legislation Thought Crimes.
        You just can’t win…..

      3. George, didn’t Rupert Murdoch try to set up a “news” show in Canada not too long ago but then backed out when he discovered that they couldn’t lie and just make shit up?

I seem to remember laughing my ass about it at the time.

      4. In fact Steve, Prime Minister Harper was rumoured to have had one of his senior aides meet with Fox to discuss a Fox News Canada.
Canadian law prohibits news outlets from publishing false claims or even taking an overtly biased position without clearly stating that the opinion is an editorial or opinion piece. During an election cycle, it is also illegal to give more time to one party at the expense of any other.
Fox News would be very different on this side of the border. When the Conservative Government quietly floated changes to CRTC (Canadian Radio and Telecommunications Commission) guidelines, Canadians made it pretty clear that would be a political mistake.
