I dropped the ball (of yarn).
I missed Caturday. Like a fat tabby on a windowsill on the sunny side of the house, I got lazy. Jude has expressed his displeasure, and I have been put on notice.
How do you make up for such an egregious error in judgement? LOL Kittehs!
That’s how! Continue reading “How Sorry am I for missing Caturday?”
Today is Charles Darwin’s Birthday. In recent years, it has become increasingly more popular as a day to celebrate rationalism, skepticism, and the wonder of scientific discovery. This stands in contrast to January 8th, Alfred Russel Wallace Day, the day most rational people celebrate the cruel nature of fate.
To celebrate, you should curl up with a mug of coffee and a copy of Origin of the Species, or The Descent of Man, and Selection in Relation to Sex (if you are a hipster who thinks Origin was “Too Commercial”).
Alternately, you could find an online argument with a creationist, laugh hysterically at his/her ignorance, and suggest some intellect appropriate resources.
Best yet, you could get off your ass and get your hands dirty with some of the many serious issues opposing rational thought. It is, after all, Sunday- the other side is otherwise occupied.
Happy Darwin Day!
