It’s really him. And the genuine sounds of his crying.
And, by the way, they talk about this Great Recession as if it fell out of the sky, And by the way, they talk about this Great Recession as if it fell out of the sky, like, oh my goodness, where did it come from? It came from this man voting to put two wars in a credit card, to at the same time put a prescription drug benefit on the credit card, a trillion- dollar tax cut for a—very wealthy. I was there. I voted against him. I said, no, we can’t afford that. And now all of a sudden these guys are so seized with a concern about the debt that they created.
For another great, sassy recap of last night’s debate, go here.
And for a little validation from my friend Mrs. Betty Bowers:
The snarling, macho, gun-tooting GOP is currently swooning onto fainting couches across America, prissily scolding Joe Biden for being such a meanie to that clean-scrubbed pop-eyed boy he debated last night. When Obama loses a debate; Democrats blame Obama. When Ryan loses a debate; Republicans blame everyone/everything else. No wonder they’re so bad a fixing problems.
The video above features a woman calling the president a communist and that he’s not an American. When pressed by MSNBC’s Chris Matthews, that liberal-media-loving asshole, the woman says that just because Obama was born here, doesn’t make him an American.
MSNBC is the best at Gotcha
Politics Journalism. They’ve obviously exploited this poor woman who doesn’t have note cards or a teleprompter to work from.
I mean, nobody could be that stupid.
She’s obviously a MSNBC-hired actor to show a caricature of how liberals view ignorant conservatives. Nobody really thinks Obama — if he was born on American soil — is not an American, do they?
It’s a good thing FOX News exists to help people understand the fair and balanced broadcasts streaming out of their portal.
Otherwise, we might get more of these people spouting ignorant bullshit.
The woman is repeating information verbatim from FOX?
Last week, when Obama lost the debate to Romney, many of us who support Obama said it like it was: Obama lost. Romney won.
On this post, I wrote:
[Obama] wants out so badly, he threw his own chances to win.
So when I wrote last night that Biden trounced Ryan — which he did — a couple of you gave it low stars.
Let me get this straight. I say that Obama lost, no reaction. I say that Biden won, reaction?
The responses I’ve seen this morning criticize Biden for interrupting too much. Were these same people not watching the presidential debate. Both candidates walked all over the moderator and each other.
Reports were made that Romney, in his aggression stomped all over the moderator.
But did that stop me from thinking Romney won?
No. It didn’t. Romney came out swinging.
I don’t care for Romney at all.
But the losers and winners are turning out to be the viewers, who can’t fucking own up, and see the clarity of what happened last night.
When all you care about is your candidates and their associated parties, and not the facts, then you’re the losers.
When all you care about is “hoping” to “change” the outcome with grandiose wishful thinking, you’re the losers.
This is my criticism about the bible. This is my criticism about belief.
OWN — THE FUCK — UP.
Call a spade a — fucking — spade.
Esse Quam — fucking — Videri.
The Atlanta Constitution is reporting that a father used Proverbs 13 as justification to beat his children ruthlessly.
You know, Spare the rod, spoil the child.
Well, that father — one Benjamin Edetanlen — was sentenced to 18 years in prison Wednesday for beating his 5-month-old son to death.
This won’t be the last story you read in which the bible inspired behavior that is oppositional to the views believers say their bible promotes.
It won’t be the last time you read a story that shows believers devalue life at one stage, but scream about valuing life at a fetal stage.
Maybe Edetanlen took the bible out of context. Maybe he truly loved his son and the two other kids who survived their beatings.
I mean, I’ve seen some pretty damn evil five months olds whom I was this close to beating to death, haven’t you?
Wait a minute.
No, no I haven’t met any five-months olds whom I’ve wanted to beat to death.
And maybe you’re thinking, why are you picking on one father? There are many good parents out there.
And you’d be right. There are great parents out there. And you know why they are good parents?
Because — if they happen to believe — they ignore the parts of the bible that implore violence toward children. Why? Because secular laws are superior to biblical laws/ideas/recommendations 99% of the time.
The best it’s got: Treat your neighbor as yourself.
