We’re outta here, Baltimore. See you next time

Tina and I delivered a presentation on social media this morning to a small crowd of 12 people.

The feedback indicated that it was well received by some but not by everyone. One criticism was that we didn’t address Business-to-Business, and concentrated on Business to Consumer.

It was a valid criticism, and after Tina and I talked about it, our main clients who hire us the most are B to B and not B to C.

We didn’t make that clarification, which landed us some bad votes.

Our presentation was at 8 a.m., which killed us. We had to wake up at 6 — after not really sleeping. In some ways, we’re still on Chicago time, and we’re both rather sleep deprived.

I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown at one point, but we pushed through.

It was a definite learning experience, and we’ve already been asked to speak again next June.

We’re flying back to Chicago this evening, and we can’t wait to get home to our Lu and Zoe.

The above shot is me, sitting on the job — typical. Right!
