Last week, I worked with a client who needed to shoot tables that she designed. Our client preferred that we come to her rather than shoot in the studio, because she was fearful of transporting the tables. They are a bit fragile.
So we packed up the truck and went to her.
Here’s the setup that I came up with. I used a large source of light on the left, reflected it on the right, and used a fill light hitting the ceiling and diffusing it through a silk from the top.
One quick thing we did to up the ante of the images was lay a piece of plexiglass on the floor just beneath the images to give it that reflective quality on the floor.
