In February of 2012, Tina and I traveled to Bali, Indonesia to celebrate her 40th birthday.
It was an amazing adventure. Traveling half-way around the world — when there are many beautiful places on this side we haven’t seen — was well worth the time and investment.
Mind you, this was a trip we took without too much consideration for budget. I mean, we stayed in some places we wouldn’t have stayed if we were on a tighter version of Jeremy’s dime.
I made sure Tina entered her 41st year pampered and spoiled. I just happened to go along for the ride.
Yesterday, I met with a new friend who is going to Bali next week, and he asked if I could meet with him to show him pictures and give him recommendations for things to do.
Here are a few of the images I showed him. One huge highlight was visiting the monkey forest, a sanctuary where you can get so close to the monkeys that you might find yourself with one riding your shoulders. Literally.
