Like every other Chicagoan on your Facebook feed, I got a sunrise shot too.

This morning, I woke up and looked out our east facing window and saw beautiful colors.

I immediately checked my phone, and I only had 10 minutes to get to the lakefront if I wanted to grab a shot, and even then, these colors I was seeing were spectacular and likely would disappear by the time I got out there.

The window of opportunity is slim.

But here are two shots I grabbed with Tina’s camera out our front window.
