Wow! This is a cool light, #zylightf8, but is it worth $2400?

I’m constantly looking at gear porn, and searching for the best products to make my job(s) better.

This fresnel from Zylight, the F8, seems to be a badass option for video production, and even some photography. But I’m worried it’s not worth the $2400 pricetag.

This is certainly one I would want to tryout before purchase, but I’m not sure there’s a place I could find it.
