Postcards to you from sunny Chicago: an homage to the 50s pinup

At the beginning of January, we photographed a session with great team who braved cold, snowy weather to work with Tina and me in our studio. Two of the images from the shoot posted here and here.

The third look we came up with was a 50s style pinup. At the time, I thought I would be able to tackle the photo editing right away, but January and early February slammed us with work we weren’t anticipating. I finally landed on an idea for the editing that separated our work from the average bear, a sort of postcard. The idea seemed especially apropos given that Chicago has been covered in snow since the snowy evening we photographed this image over a month ago.

I also photographed the below cinema gram and am happy to finally share it as well.

So here are our postcards to you, during this in climate weather that seems to never end: The warm weather will come soon. In the meantime, here’s a warmup.
