For March, the twelve self-portrait challenge with friend and photographer Sunny Lee continues. This month, the theme was green.
My original idea was to do something inspired by Nickelodeon’s You Can’t Do That on Television, and have green slime dropped on my head. A month ago, when I came up with the idea, I assumed the weather would have broken, and we could setup and outdoor studio so I wouldn’t have to worry about destroying the studio with that shot.
But we’ve had no luck with the weather.
So I came up with plan B, which was silly, and I realize that it’s either a fun image or stupid.
But I had to produce something.
Oddly enough, I did two sets of me jumping. One with my suit, and one with boxers only. I was going to strategically place veggies in front of my business, but after looking at the shots, I wasn’t all that thrilled with the way it was coming together.
I settled on the suit shots and I also settled on multiple versions of me.
That’s my Tina doing the toss. So glad she could be a part of this months project.
Don’t look too close at the edit. I probably didn’t spend as much time as I should’ve on cutting myself out.
