One of the overwhelming sentiments right now is that fingers are being pointed at the “other” side in a full onslaught of “whataboutisms”.
Look at how the BLM movement burned down cities? What about the cheating, lying democrats stealing the election?
Trump loved me. Democrats don’t love babies and they surely don’t love me.
I can truly vouch that I LOVE my republican family and friends. And I do my darnedest to see past what I view as possible shortcomings. And they do the same to me. That’s apparently how things work.
I saw this cut and paste on Facebook:
Dear President Trump,
I want to take a minute to say thank you. Regardless of the outcome of this election you deserve my gratitude. Thank you for not plunging my son into another war. Thank you for walking through HELL and back for the American people. Thank you for doing it for free. Thank you for working through the night while my family was tucked safely in bed. Thank you for standing strong and staring adversity in the face. Thank you for keeping GOD in the country I love. Thank you for not backing down when the weight of the world was against you. Thank you for putting your family in the line of fire when you didn’t have to. Thank you for standing up for women. Thank you for not being a politician. Thank you for being raw and human, honest and forthright, sometimes too much for small minded people. Thank you for standing up for the unborn. Thank you for caring about the little guy. Thank you for working harder than any president in my lifetime ever has. Thank you for your service to this country. Thank you for loving this country and all Americans above personal gain. Thank you. Win or lose I am a fan. You have fulfilled every promise you have made to me and for that I am thankful. May GOD always bless you and your family.
From a grateful American.
You know what sucks? These same prayerful gestures are exactly what a democrat would think about his/her president. Sure, there’s a few republican cliché talking points like, “Thank you for not being a politician.”
But one could argue very well that president Trump became one of THE biggest politicians of all time.
Thank you for being honest and forthright?
I’m not sure how that works. But okay. Bleach consumption and a light in your ass aside, he told the truth about rarely anything except that he loved one view of America and not the other side. Democrats do not have a place in Republican society. United we stand becomes divided we scream.
One really must stop and think when they live in a country of diversity, how can you say you think the other side are composed of fools and evil?
The screams from democrats to heal is, in essence, very hypocritical if you consider how vocally adverse we have been toward Donald Trump. But the division is deep. And we’re scapegoating one man, while Republicans blame all of the party.
But the cult of Trump is standing with him, and they equate themselves with him.
So the hypocrisy is universal. It’s easily equated to “both” sides.
