the grass is greener … today in easier said than done

I read a meme-y thing the other day. It read, “The grass is greener where you water it.”

I’m sure it’s not new, but it’s a phrase that’s been banging around in my head since and I wanted to share some of those thoughts. It’s rather juvenile. And it’s clearly one of those feel good quotes that Helen in accounting would have pinned to her tack-board.

The way I remembered the quote, it read, “The grass is greener where you take care of it.” And maybe that one exists, too, but I’m too lazy to search google for too long.
