Shoot, Lindsay, you’re right. I’m terrified that Walker might woo young children to vote Republican.

“What is this all about? Why Herschel? They’re beating all of our guys up, but what is it about this guy? He changes the entire narrative of the left.

“We’re a party of racists, Sean. Me and you are racists, the Republican Party is racist. Well what happens when the Republican party elects and nominates Herschel Walker, an African American, black Heisman Trophy winner, right? Olympian.

“It destroys the whole narrative. They’re scared to death of Herschel walker because if Herschel Walker becomes a Republican, maybe every other young child in America of color might want to be a Republican.

“That’s what they’re trying to do. Don’t let them get away with it.” – Sen. Lindsey Graham, last night on Hannity.

Half-assing it.

While in talk therapy for many years, I was gifted with some advice that I take with me everywhere I go: “Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good.”

Talking through perfectionism helped me so much in so many aspects of my life. The other key to any self betterment was when I learned different methods of “self compassion.”

Perfectionism is a curse. It can be anyway.

This thread from the above ADHD individual who uses two stickies with “Half-ass it” and “Do it poorly” resonated with me. Sometimes shit that I do looks so bad that I can’t bare to share it. But when shared, it’s considered some of other people’s favorite or very appealing.

Another person on the twitter thread shared this gem:

Congratulations, you have free will, but you do not have the freedom to express free will

This little interview with Mike Pence, likely a 2024 presidential contender and a man the former guy wanted killed by a mob of gullible loons, is shockingly stupid.

The group that wants you to believe you have free will while removing it at the same time does not think you have the right to disbelief.

That’s freedom for ya.

Intelligence isn’t Mike Pence’s middle name.

A five year old shows Mozart who’s boss

Saw this at TYWKIWDBI. So good. So so good.

Also very notable is this post “The “Pillars of Creation” (Hubble and Webb)” showing the difference in quality between the two satellites’ abilities and a reminder of how dense our universe is, how old is really is, and how gloriously amazing.

That a group both looks at this and sees God and/or god’s hand simultaneously denying scientific achievement, age of the universe, and its ability to measure/predict/help/heal is the greatest conundrum I struggle with almost every day.
