The cracks in the foundation

It was both confusing and remarkable to read both Trump’s indelibly relentless attacks of Rob Reiner and his wife after their murdered bodies were discovered. Then to read as many followup retorts relentlessly shaming Trump for his superfluous attacks at such a poorly timed effort.

I mean, pastors, politicians, heads of Christian media, so many people condemned Trump at levels I’ve never seen before.

The MAGA cracks are reportedly growing. And it’s because the tariffs are affecting their bottom lines, and their healthcare is about to get punched in the crotch.

I think the foundation (finally!) cracked the most when he called Tim Walz “retarded.” At the time, I was so infuriated, and incredibly disappointed that this man is considered worthy of respect by people I look up to and enjoy spending tie with. My sister’s handicaps were a constant target of kids’ torment and idiocies. My brother and I were pretty tame, but at the face of kids poking fun at our sister (or anyone with special needs), we were boldly strong.

When my own sister showed appreciation and support for a man who literally made fun of a reporter with special needs, I almost collapsed of the weight.

But now the response to Rob Reiner. I’ve never seen this level of antagonism toward Trump. It wasn’t grab ’em by the pussy. It wasn’t his disdain for our military. It wasn’t that he is an adjudicated rapist. It’s not that he cheated on his wives with other soon-to-be wives or hookers. It’s not that he’s clearly an Epstein islander. It’s that he called Rob Reiner a psycho tormented by TDS and that Tim Walz is “retarded.”

I remember one time my dad asked Tina and I if we thought Trump is racist. I remember pausing with bewilderment. The very notion that anyone would not know well before hand that Trump has lived his life as a racist asshole is beyond me. Set Obama’s birth certificate aside. His discrimination against people of color in housing to the Central Park Five are just two small instances compared to his white nationalist stance on FULL display as President.

If you have to ask if Trump is a racist, that likely points a huge glaring spotlight at the inquirer that they, too, are, in fact, racist as fuck.

I mean, Chick-fil-A is brazenly coming forth as pro DEI lately. That means a lot coming from one of the biggest Christian chains. These cracks are crumbing and it is a buffet of schadenfreude.

Oh! And all that Susie Wiles shit that dropped yesterday. Delicious. Something is destroying the MAGAsphere. The CBS interview with Erika Kirk was a slide down into stupidity and the ratings were dismal. This martyr-making for Charlie is shooing butts from pews. The White Evangelical movement and their ties to Nazism is not missed by young people who know all too well that Charlie Kirk was nothing more than a dipshit propagandist who spewed nothing but dumb ideas about dusty old books, and had NOTHING to do with the life of Jesus Christ.

Nor does Trump, or his administration. And it’s glorious to watch people come out of the yeshua fog of cognitive dissonance. When the only dude in the room that’s building a case for the economy and America being “on fire” is the president, the whole house is coming down.
