These are the kinds of stories we need right now. We live in a big, bouncy bubble where the President of the United States calls his perceived enemies names, including the word “retarded.” He stands on stage and describes his wife’s panties drawers. How she steams them. A man spoiled by a steel dome shield surrounding his brittle ego. A person who cannot man up to release the Epstein files, because his name is frequently in them … and also backed by a group of his cabinet and administration who want to keep his pedophilia “secret.” These are not heroes. These are not “christians.” these are not who anyone should look up to, admire, or devote lives and time to.
And then there are people who, faced with physical and emotional complexities, push themselves to the limits of self-betterment, of boundary-breaking notoriety. This is inspiration. Logan Knowles is a hero. And his story should be the one that occupies our attention.
