Let’s round ’em up!

It’s been a hot minute since I posted the ever-growing number of drag queens arrested for, charged with, or accused of sex crimes. And since all the regular Joes are getting picked up for their smaller crimes while the White House and its DOJ continue covering for the sick pedophiles with broad-stroked political power, billionaire bank accounts, and an American president in their back pockets, I offer a drop in the bucket: people arrested in the past two months for sex-related crimes.

Wait, did I write “drag queens”? I meant Christian men—usually white, and usually in positions of power and influence. This article explains that the DOJ has been sitting on over 99% of the remaining Epstein files for a month now. Trump himself has told MTG that if the files are released, “my friends would get hurt.”

What about all the women who have been hurt, continue to get hurt, and will continue to be trafficked all over the world? I don’t care if they are Democrat, Republican, Independent, CEOs, CFOs—whatever. These dirty old fuckers deserve what’s coming to them, in reality… not some slap on the wrist and forgiveness in the mythological afterlife!

Tennessee Youth Pastor Arrested On Child Sex Charges

Knoxville’s NBC affiliate reports:

The White Pine Police Department announced Sunday that they have arrested and charged a Greeneville youth minister following an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct involving a minor.

Wesley A. Brobeck, 48, was a youth pastor for Freedom Fellowship Church of White Pine on the Greeneville campus

WPPD said the church took immediate action against Brobeck and fired him after learning of the allegations. WPPD arrested Brobeck Saturday night at his home and has charged him with sexual battery by an authority figure and statutory rape by an authority figure. He is currently being held in the Jefferson County Jail.

Peoria’s ABC affiliate reports:

Tazewell County prosecutors have formally charged a Peoria pastor for allegedly sending sexually graphic photographs of himself to a minor last summer. The state’s attorney’s office charged Michael Ritchason, 48, with one count of distributing harmful material to a minor, which is a Class 4 felony.

The court document details a “lengthy” Snapchat thread in which Ritchason allegedly sent graphic photographs of himself to the minor. Church officials said in October that Ritchason asked to be removed from all pastoral duties. On the church’s website, Ritchason is still listed as lead pastor, also noting he’s on leave.

Philadelphia’s NBC affiliate reports:

Richard Adamsky, a former teacher at Nativity of Our Lord Parish School and a former youth sports coach, pleaded guilty Monday to one count of receipt and attempted receipt of child pornography, and one count of possession of child pornography.

The former teacher and coach was arrested when local law enforcement agencies executed a search warrant on the home where Adamsky lived last year. At that time, he reportedly told Bucks County investigators that he had been searching for, downloading and saving hundreds of images of child pornography.

Adamsky taught at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic School for more than three decades. He also coached youth sports at that school and two others. The age of the children he taught in 7th and 8th grade is the same age group that was depicted in the child pornography images, according to investigators.

Trump Derangement Syndrome affects only one man

In response to European officials sending a letter to Donald Trump to deescalate his threats against NATO, the European Union and to claiming he’ll take ownership of Greenland, Trump responded with a letter of his own. I’ll paste that letter appended for clarity.

Someone who thinks purely of peace doesn’t change his tune because he didn’t get noticed or awarded for it. We don’t offer a hand of assistance to someone, because we want accolades. Men & women in doctors’ coats don’t hope that one day the world will recognize their valor for saving lives. And when they do not get it after a full year of saviorship, they say, “Fuck it! I’m killing the next 10 patients in retaliation.”

What a fucking delusional baby. Whoever thinks this guy is special is special themselves. He refers to himself in the third person. So his so-called Trump Derangement Syndrome is destroying the brain of one man, and one man only: himself.

Here’s his letter with my addendums.

Dear Jonas:

Considering your Country decided not to give me the Nobel Peace Prize for having stopped 8 Wars PLUS, [No, he did not stop 8 wars. This claim is false and unsupported. There is no credible evidence that he ended 8 wars, nor that he negotiated or concluded formal peace agreements ending wars.] I no longer feel an obligation to think purely of Peace, although it will always be predominant, [This is rhetorical, not factual—no formal obligation of “pure peace” exists in international law.] but can now think about what is good and proper for the United States of America.

Denmark cannot protect that land from Russia or China, [No evidence supports this claim. Denmark is a NATO member, and Greenland’s security is backed by NATO and the U.S. through existing defense agreements.] and why do they have a “right of ownership” anyway? [Greenland is not privately “owned”; it is a self-governing territory within the Kingdom of Denmark under internationally recognized sovereignty.] There are no written documents, [This is false. There are extensive treaties, legal frameworks, and international recognitions establishing Denmark’s sovereignty over Greenland.] it’s only that a boat landed there hundreds of years ago, [This is a gross oversimplification and historically inaccurate.] but we had boats landing there, also. [Landing somewhere does not establish legal sovereignty under international law.]

I have done more for NATO than any other person since its founding, [This is false. NATO was founded in 1949, and no credible metric supports this claim.] and now, NATO should do something for the United States. [NATO already includes mutual defense obligations under Article 5, which the U.S. has invoked and benefited from.] The World is not secure unless we have Complete and Total Control of Greenland. [This is an opinion, not a fact, and is not supported by international security consensus or law.]

This early release song from one of my favorite dudes on the planet was released this week, and I cannot get enough of it.

When I was in high school learning to play the bass guitar, I had Red Hot Chili Peppers Mother’s Milk album on repeat. When Blood Sex Sugar Magic released, I was both disturbed and intrigued. That era was my “most Christian” and my most exploratory. There were songs on that album that broached sexual topics that made me uncomfortable. As if I were holding a dirty magazine in my hands and both repelled and engorged by the visuals of women’s naked bodies.

Flea, if you didn’t know, is the bass player for Red Hot Chili Peppers, and his persona has been iconic for me. He’s a kinda little dude with a HUGE aura. His presence and talent is almost limitless. He also plays the trumpet. He’s acted in several movies in his career, and he’s played on other people’s projects, including Jane’s Addiction, Thom Yorke and others.

In a few words: I love Flea.

This song means so much to me as an artist who is struggling to find goodness and inspiration in the political climate. I’m tired of the idea that we Americans are so moved by political differences to allow these ideas to trickle into our love lives. It’s separating families and friends, all because it’s a shit show with no known end point. When are the credits going to roll on the insanity of people arguing over what dipshits do and say in Washington DC?

Anyway, give the song A Plea a listen. I’m going to put the lyrics below the fold. But my favorite parts are these:

This essay is an incredible dive into what is happening right now in the United States of America.

Just 3 days ago, I heard that democrats were holding January memorials and reminders of that harrowing day that I watched unfold on television. I’m guessing most of you did, too.

The White House released a statement about how January 6 protestors were peaceful, kind and respectful.

We can all view the astonishing video of an ICE agent murdering a 36 year old mother shooting her point blank in her car, and he walked away unscathed. But Kristi Noem, President Trump and the White House want to convince you that your eyes are deceiving you. That this woman was a “domestic terrorist” who weaponized her car, with a glove compartment crammed with stuffed animals, wanted to hurt, maim or kill a masked ICE agent surrounding her car like a swarm of rabid wolves.
