    A friend and I were trying to decide whether this is real or fake – the camera angles are just so right, and with an event like this you can’t exactly ask your players to “take it one more time from the top”. Maybe you can offer your professional opinion?

  2. That clip is from a real Hollywood picture that I remember seeing when I was 12 or 13. It was shot in British Columbia, as a matter of fact (I think). I’ve seen this clip and it seem unbelievable, but it was shot when CGI wasn’t necessarily as available as it is today. However it was shot, it does seem contrived, but I can attest to the fact that it’s how the original movie played out in 1988.

  3. Wow, thanks for the info! I had a feeling it wasn’t an ordinary nature documentary, but I had no idea it was actually part of a feature film.
